In recent years, designers and manufacturers have come up with new methods and styles for completing countertops in kitchen, vanities, and other scenarios. There are numerous types of these new age materials, but the biggest two right now are glass and concrete. These tops are both very expensive, and very specialized, and the pros and cons of them could be discussed better with a professional in their field. They are fully custom, and will only be mentioned here as they should be discussed with the cabinet makers before the build, as the cabinets should be constructed differently if you’re considering doing a countertop in glass or concrete. We currently do not have a supplier for concrete or glass countertops, but will update this page in the future if that changes. If you wish to have a glass or concrete countertop, let us know at Handcrafted Wood Furniture & Kitchens, and we will be glad to find a supplier who is up for the job.
